Elaine Valerie is a cool whisper of collective creativity inspired by media, driven by design, and comparable to no one. This issue is inspired by she. I'd like to call it vintage soul; a year end review of icons, classic brands and ambitious daughters. Thank you for a wonderful year! A special thanks to Carolina Vargas, my cover designer, who has done a magnificent job yet again. See you soon friends:)
Meet Lana Elizabeth!
She lives in Budapest, Hungary with her family and according to her mother, she is a fun, loving, charismatic child, who spends her time in front of the camera, auditioning or enjoying horseback riding. Lana just turned six years old this past September.
I discovered her through the first cover model of L'LUOR.. Adrienne Kelemen. They were in a runway show together. I was lucky enough to have found a picture and was immediately drawn to her spirit. It was fitting to place her on the cover of the October edition which celebrates "THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL-CHILD on October 11th. This is a day that recognizes girl's rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world.
I picked Lana because she loves ice cream, chocolate muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. She speaks Hungarian and is now learning Spanish.
Lana has a huge toy horse collection of up to 1000 pieces and when she grows up, she wants to be a "whisperer" that heals the horse's soul. This is Lana, the dreamer, the FIRST YOUNG LADY OF L'LUOR!
I am proud of her smile, her character, her drive and what she will be. And I'd also like to thank her mother Katie. I am honored to have had this opportunity to showcase your wonderful child. Thank you.
This is probably one of the most captivating photos I have ever seen in my life. So moving.. that I scraped this month's previous model, hours before finding this magnificent piece. Shot by Rikard Eloffson, somewhere in Europe I believe. And all I can tell you about her is that her name is Jenny. I am touched by her eyes and full lips; struck by her stare and organic bronze complexion; ecstatic over her coiled hair to the point of astonishment. Hopefully she'll be surfing the web at some point and find her divinity revealed.
I'd like to thank Rikard Eloffson for the license.. and pray he can find more information on his wondrous discovery. This is L'LUOR, the new edition, the new look; with a focus on the NATURAL of BEAUTY...
Beauty is not something you achieve, it is something you are. For Sharon Garwood, our fourth cover model of L'LUOR, we take beauty to a new height. Her scintillating perspective on fitness, spirituality, and well-being is as equally impressive as, her angelic, marvelous shell that reflects an elegance and humility, you cannot help but admire.
And I am not sure, if there are any mines where she was born in Seoul, South Korea, but every facet of my imagination says she has been a diamond since birth. Sharon is a jewel. She has a sparkling B.S. in Business Management from Boston College and she is an Ambassador for Under Armour Women, after becoming a top ten finalist in their 2012, "Sweat Every Day" campaign. Today she stands as a member of their product advisory board as well. Recently, GamerFit Nation has welcomed her as a new spokesmodel for their brand.
Her independent venture is also quite exceptional. It is a bright, beautiful brand called P3Driven, which is centered around fitness as a way of living. Power. Passion. Purpose. A very pure concept with unlimited possibilities. Miss Garwood currently handles sourcing out of the C.A. region for major retailers, working for one of the largest apparel manufacturing companies in the world.
But outside of her external achievements, she is a peace that I have never felt. An inspiration of the finest quality, that believes in the power of union and the strength of femininity. In my eyes, she is your leader. Talk about her. Be about her. Sharon Garwood Forever.
A message here, a message there, my heart beats once, my heart beats twice. And before I knew it, I was charmed by pure blonde potency in the prettiest of all packages, whom the world knows as Eva Lutz.
Eva is an Austrian Goddess, who is best known for her work with Playboy, as a cover model and also Playmate, with a jaw-dropping centerfold. And although Europe's competitive men's glamour magazine industry is full of gorgeous models. They are nothing like this. No, nothing like Eva. She is a lovely example of femininity with a cool spirit. She is a dreamgirl. And now she is L'LUOR.
